Well the first round went almost according to plan. It looks like I went 6 for 8 with the Rondo-less Bulls and the Griffin-less Clippers keeping me from perfect once again. The Cavs did steam roll the Pacers like I said they would. The Pacers should of won game 3 or 4 but that's how it goes when you play LeBron and the refs! The Raptors in a dog fight got past the young Bucks like they were suppose to do. The Wizards put away the Hawks in a closer than expected match up. In the West the Warriors swept the Blazers like I said they would. The Spurs beat the Grizzlies 4-2. The Rockets beat the Thunder 4-1. Jazz upset 4-3.  I was almost perfect in the West.

Eastern Conference

 

1. Boston Celtics vs 4. Washington Wizards

        VS            

This should be the series to watch in the east. The Celtics have a ton of above average players that can all hit the 3 pointer. They are coming off a 4 game winning streak and look alive. Thomas can put everything past him now and focus on this series. The Wizards looked great and terrible at times like most teams in the playoffs. They seemed to get it going as of late and got a much needed road win. Wall and Beal work great off each other, but the key factor here will be the "Polish Hammer" Gortat!  If they let a 5'9" point-shooting guard get in the paint without paying for it, they deserve to lose. Plain and Simple! I think it will be a great series to watch and I do believe the Wizards would of beat either the Celtics or the Bulls this round. The Celtics just better be glad that Rondo decided to have fun on a warm day in Chicago and throw himself from a bike!

Prediction: Wizards win series 4-2

 

 

2. Cleveland Cavaliers vs 3. Toronto Raptors

         VS           

The Cavs showed why they can take the last couple weeks off in the regular season. Many experts were doubting them, but not me! This is a nice re-match from last year. LeBron and company should be ready for this task and match up well in this series. Derozen will be lights out once again, but will it be enough? I think the Raptors can steal game 1 and then the Cavs will wake up like always. Maybe give them one more at home.

Prediction: Cavaliers win the series 4-2

 

 

 

 

 

Western Conference

 

1. Golden State Warriors vs 4. Utah Jazz
              VS                 

The Warriors are just so much better than most of these teams its really not fair. They proved they can win without superstars already. They swept a good Blazers team with sharp shooters. I do think the Blazers are better than this Jazz team. As good as the Jazz looked it is still hard to win one here.  Can we skip this series please?

Prediction: Warriors win the series 4-0

 

 

2. San Antonio Spurs vs 3. Houston Rockets
         VS               

Here is the Best Match Up of the 4 series! I do think this can go either way. The Spurs been there done that many times over the last 20 years. Coach Pop has Leonard right were he wants him. I just don't like the way this team looks this year. I do think they can win this series and they are my first love when it comes to NBA teams. The Rockets on the other hand have MVP Harden and he makes everyone so much better. Kind of like that guy that use to play in Chicago and won 6 rings. This will be exciting and I have to pick a winner. I will go with another upset and say the Rockets finally get it done. They are the team of the future and make a big step against the slower Spurs. I would love to see my Spurs win, but what for? To get beat by the Warriors again? Rockets have an outside chance at making history if the 3 ball falls!

Prediction: Rockets win the series 4-3
